World Karate Organization Shinkyokushinkai Bangladesh successfully concluded its Summer Camp 2023 at the Maui Resort in Cox’s Bazar from July 14 to 16, 2023.
Members of WKO Bangladesh and KO Fight Studio, from both Gulshan and Dhanmondi dojo, attended the three-day training camp led by Shihan Abdullah Mohammad Hossain, the country representative and branch chief of the organization.
WKO Shinkyokushin Bangladesh holds two camps every year, winter and summer, which are integral parts of Kyokushin training. The organization did its best to make the camp as colorful as possible, providing something for everyone.
Three days of camp consisted of 3 sessions a day, including running, physical fitness, endurance, basics of Kyokushin, Kata, fights, and multiple training to break the mental and stereotypical blocks.
The first two trainings included kihon, ido, kumite technique, and kata; the afternoon training was kumite-based, except for the group preparing for the grading at the end of the camp. The training led by Shihan Abdullah lifted the spirit and motivation of all the participants, no matter their age or grade.
During the whole camp, the participants were split into several groups. The participants in the kumite training had the unique chance to practice kumite in depth.
Traditionally, the last night finished with the Sayonara dinner party, where all the participants in the camp found new friends and had fun.
However, before that, he made everyone show their spirit and left them with good memories in the form of muscle fever.
